On your guys' first show of the new year you talked about how randy johnson will be in the league in some capacity for the rest of his life. But, I think that he fall under the same category of coach as Isaiah Thomas; an amazing player unable to intellectually breakdown their own success, so as to teach players whom don't have the same natural ability. Do you know who/how the billboard on 880 leaving the stadium was paid for? Was it season ticket holders? or a special interest group? Finally, I think that if the A's can stay healthy, especially their pitching staff, they will be the most improved team of the 2010 season.

You guys should just do a show on famous athletes and their run-ins with the law. Thanks for the cal spot. Its definitly nice to have the show end on a high note. Maybe a couple interviews from some of the boys in blue are possible for the future?

I got to admit, lucca1, the Bears are indeed the best thing going around here, at least until hockey season. I'll point to our URL for why we haven't talked more about it. For the record, plenty of NOR CAL listeners relish a Rose Bowl -- but I'm saying next week's voyage to Oregon won't be easy...

Where is the college football love. The bears are ranked sixth in the nation in some poles. They have to be considered the best team in bay area sports. Give us one bright spot in the foggy depths that is bay area sports

With regards to A's/Giants wager, my guess is that even with a far more potent offense than their friends across the Bay, the A's inexperienced rotation will be their downfall. The Giants, on the other hand, have the staff to carry them as long as the bats can muster a couple runs per game. Plus they are positioned to load up at the trade deadline if (and it's a big if) they're still in contention.
