This year's 49ers and Raiders previews are certainly worth reading. With all that roster turnover, so little time after the lockout, plus new coaches and wide-open Western divisions, I'll say this much: these teams once again have a lot in common. And both new coaches will tell you, even in practice season: It's all about tempo...

So: Are the Giants toast? Nope, not yet. Far from it. They have the experience, the character — but I'll say this much. With Romo down and the team absorbing hit after hit, you'd better hope Brian Wilson seeing the Tommy John elbow guy is really just a precaution.
You don't get any points now, for saying the G-Men could build an All-Star team out of its disabled list. Weren't you the guy saying last year that they didn't have All-Stars?
