February '08: Week 3
Welcome back to another helping of the Nor Cal Pro Sports Pod! It's make-or-break week on the Pod, as several teams face trade-deadline identity crises. To wit:
The Sharks bring in a defenseman to contribute on offense. Finally, GM Doug Wilson beats the deadline — or, has he stuck a feather in his hat, and called it macaroni?
The Kings still have a lot to say for themselves — but three recent losses haven't helped. As they scoot up the power rankings, they still seek that elusive mix of talent to propel them to contender status;
The Warriors not only stand pat at the break, they lose their leading Latvian and his failing appendix. Jess and Lex square off on whether the Golden State Guards are a playoff team in the loaded West;
The 49ers and Raiders each make some news, most of it out of left field.
And all fields heat up in Arizona, as the Giants and A's open spring training with plenty of questions of their own.
It's time to show what you've got, as the summer of '08 creeps up — on the Northern California Pro Sports Pod!
