December '07: Week 2 (with Too Short)

Welcome to a special edition of the Pod! This week, the lads are joined by legendary hip hop icon Too Short, who discusses his love of sports, his prolific recording career, and his unique take on Bay Area life. Meanwhile, on the field of play:

The Warriors are still hot, but once again fail to get past the Lakers at Staples. This week's Oracle rematch could say a lot about their chances come spring;

Another week, another killer injury report from the Kings, who continue to exceed expectations. Can the never-wuzzes hold the line until the stars return?

The 49ers discover new ways to lose big, as a surprise standout at QB and a dominance of Adrian Peterson do nothing for the win column;

The Raiders lose their illusions in Green Bay, and are officially playing out the string, while crash test dummy Justin Fargas heads a long list of offseason questions;

The Sharkies continue to make their move, throwing up a stinker against a solid win streak, and hitting some milestones along the way;

And in a baseball twist, the Giants will now be airing A's games; do the A's have reason to gripe?

All that and a bag of chips — on this week's special hip hop episode of the Nor Cal Pro Sports Pod!

UP NEXT: The boys get up close and personal with a key player on the streaking Sharks. The hoop teams combat toughening schedules; the football teams seek out rays of December sunshine; and the A's and Giants make major moves.
