November '07: Week 5
This week, on the Nor Cal Pro Sports Pod:
Jess and Lex try to keep their cool, as both football teams eke out last-second wins on the road, and the hoop squads show they're for real.
The Raiders break their crippling AFC West streak, just in time for the yearly Denver showdown;
The 49ers tackle a budding rival, and ride a familiar offensive weapon to victory; meanwhile, Jess visits with Dr. Stephen Van Pelt to investigate what ails wonderbust Alex Smith;
The Warriors make an historic comeback from their historically bad start, saving the early season with a killer East Coast swing;
The Kings continue to win some, lose some, but are showing they can play more than one style of ball with authority;
And a strong Sharks team continues to languish near .500, bedeviled by a division foe and the dreaded shootout.

UP NEXT: The lads check in with colleague Bruce Macgowan for a Warriors one-on-one, track the Niners' and Raiders' resistance to reality, and dig deep on the hoop troops for signs of postseason life.
